I’m a little bit torn with this one. Some parts I did enjoy but overall, it really didn’t scare me and I didn’t like any of the characters enough to really care. But I think this book just wasn’t for me - apparently I am not a big fan of haunted house stories and this type of slowly developing stories.

However, I see how other people could be enjoying this for its writing style and the story (if they enjoy stories about haunted houses)!
