Arizona Heat Box Set
by Katie Douglas
This Set Includes :
Tie Me Down:
Katie Douglas is a new to me author and I enjoyed this book.
Alana is pregnant and running away from her life in Seattle. She wants something better for herself and for her unborn child. What she doesn’t expect is to faint at a gas station in Arizona. Lawson just happens to be at the right place at the time and has a knack for helping people. What happens when he takes in a pregnant stranger?
This is a quick read but there is a lot of drama and steaminess packed into. Katie Douglas doesn’t shy away from these two characters getting hot and heavy from the very beginning. The chemistry between Alana and Lawson was kindle melting and it was an instant attraction.
It is the first book of a series and I am definitely looking forward to see what is next for the other men of Lemon Tree Ranch.
Make Me Stay:
Harper is running until she finds herself at Lemon Tree Ranch and sexy cowboy Barrett is making her stay. Despite a life of running, will he be the man who changes her and makes her stay?
Barrett is man looking to settle when the blonde-haired Harper comes into his life and she is the exact opposite of him. Their chemistry is instant and it is EXPLOSIVE. This was a quick and steamy read, definitely worth it if you are a fan of cowboy romances. It is the second book in the Arizona Heat series and I definitely enjoyed this story more than the first.
Of course, it wasn’t all full of hot and steamy moments. It was sweet and it was slightly emotional, in particular one part that I’m not going to share, but if you’ve read it you can probably guess what I’m talking about.
I enjoyed this story and I can’t wait for the next one!!
Take Me Hard:
We’ve met Lawson, we’ve met Barrett, now it is time for Clay!
Kinsley and Clay literally ran into each other, well Clay mostly ran into Kinsley. After noticing her there was an instant attraction. Clay felt something about this girl and he knew he needed to take her back to Lemon Tree Ranch. These two are in for more than they bargained for.
Clay and Kinsley’s story is definitely the steamiest out of the series so far. Clay, oh that man is hot enough he will melt you kindle and the things he does….yep, you’re going to want to fan yourself. The man is on a whole different level!
Of course, despite all the steaminess there is some emotional bits to the story. Kinsley’s history and things have happen in the present are heart breaking. Clay, knowing she is young and that she has her whole life ahead of her and he is willing to let her go to experience life to the fullest, but it is easier said than done and he struggles with letting her go.
I love that we got more of the previous couples and how they all accepted Kinsley (well, Harper took a little bit longer than the rest).
This story is one steamy and emotional quick read and a must read if you love some sexy alphas because there is not shortage of alpha males in this series and this book! I can't wait to see what is in store for Jake, that man is a mystery.
Leave Me Breathless:
I love that we FINALLY get Jake’s story! He was always the “horse guy” who kind of kept to himself most of the time, but he was also part of the family with the rest of the guys.
Dylan and Jake have a history, but it ended two years ago when Dylan had a freak out and just left Jake without any real explanation. Now, she is back in his life and the attraction is still there. But is the trust between them completely broke?
I loved their second chance at a relationship. Dylan has come a long way from the little flashbacks we got of their past relationship together, of course, it took two years to figure it out. Jake was caring and protective of her, even when he didn’t fully trust her. Watching them face their past together was great and their chemistry was off the charts.
Like the other books in the series there was suspense, drama and a whole lot of steam. I also love that we got more of the other couples and babies of Lemon Tree Ranch. I am sad that this series is coming to an end but Jake’s story was the perfect ending to it all.
