This book just didn't need to be written. The pacing was all over the place. There was too much depth to some plots and barely any in others. The first book relied heavily on identifiable nostalgia which the second book lacked greatly. It didn't draw me in, and it didn't hold my attention. 
I think that if I hadn't read this as an audiobook I probably wouldn't have managed to finish it. 

Incredibly disappointed.
