Whilst I enjoyed the story line and how well it intwines with the classic story we’ve come to grow and love, I do feel that it could have been more concise as there were parts which felt dragged out and minimal pay off.
I am glad to have read it, you can see the author play around with plot holes from the original and create a new view of them which I enjoyed thoroughly and adding more depth to characters of the original.
Whilst I would encourage anyone who enjoys the movie to give it a read, I can’t imagine myself re-reading this novel in the future.
