I really liked the foreign words featured throughout and that cute couple of moments. Declan is one of the grumpiest MMC I've ever read. That being said, I think enemies to lovers was a trope but they mostly just seemed annoyed at each other? I felt like their connection did not seem natural throughout the book. This book reminded me a lot of Twisted Lies by Ana Huang. The ending of the book was really sweet and a cute HEA.
