What a roller coaster of emotions. I tether between 4 and 5 stars because while the wars and assembling of allies was necessary for the story to move on, I felt like it dragged on and on and consumed the story....which sounds stupid, cause yes, that was the story. I don't know, that's just personally how I start to lose interest in a series. But I did love the character development and outings of the inner circle, the sisters, as well as the carver, weaver, and bryaxis and learning more about their history. Lots of twists and turns and moments I held my breath so even though talk and planning of war and assemblance makes me start to tap out, the book still held my interest and wanted me to keep going.
