I definitely squealed while reading this, several times in fact. It was just such a wonderful story! Daniel and Alexis were made for each other. I was rooting for them from that first encounter! I'm not usually one for age gap romances (in this one, the female character is roughly ten years older than the male character) but I think this was SO well done. Daniel was just so genuine, and you could tell he just loved Alexis for HER and not her age or her family issues or her money or status. I love that Alexis fell in love with the small town life and that she was able to overcome her family (oh my word, did I hate her father) and that everything worked out in the end. It was so beautiful! I've never read anything from Abby Jimenez but I can honestly say I will be reading all of her work from now on!
