This book rounds out an important YA trilogy looking at racims in the United States, especially as it relates to power. Stone took a risk with this story, focusing Jared, who you might remember from the previous books. We get to see him working to be better, but still making mistakes. I think that's one of the most important take aways from this book. No one is ever going to be perfect right away, but all that's important is that you keep trying to make yourself better.
Graphic: Racism, Alcohol, Classism
Moderate: Sexual assault, Police brutality, Gaslighting
Minor: Misogyny, Racial slurs, Vomit
