I was prepared to be overjoyed reading this collection as I am biracial and frequently think and talk about my biracial identity, but in reality it was ok. A few essays were quite good, some were way too long, some were very confusing.

Probably would've given up reading the whole collection ages ago if not for the fact that this has been sitting stagnant on my "currently reading" list on GoodReads for so many weeks and I got tired of it lingering.
