This book is alright.  The rhyming story is nice, but really doesn’t have anything to do with Halloween. That seems mostly like a marketing scheme to get more sales.  The artwork is interesting.  It is like clip art are laid over AI backgrounds.  I say this because there seems to be different art styles used.  Take for example the toucan. It does not seem to fit the same illustration  style as the swallow or as the fox.  It’s odd.  It does work, but it feels very “self-published”.  Meaning it feels like it was thrown together by a well-meaning parent to give to their child, rather than a book to really be selected and put in a library.
