An interesting twist on the Groundhog Day trope, this is the story of a woman who witnesses her son killing a man and then begins her experience in a time loop. 

As she travels back, she learns that solving this mystery and keeping her son from killing a man is a much bigger puzzle than she originally thought. And soon even the time loop does not behave as it originally did. 

This isn't a standout book in my opinion, but it did something fun in an unusual way. Some might find the scientific character who researches time loops a bit trite, but I thought this information added a layer to the story. If you're looking for a short thriller that will keep you guessing with some magical realism in the form of time travel, this isn't a bad choice.
