Latte Darling

HOLY CRAP! This book blew me away. It was so good and I just can't stop thinking about it. I loved the premise of this book which has Maddie being stood up by her online date, and instead, his father comes and meets her to apologize for his kid not being there and sparks fly! This is an age gap romance and it was refreshing to see the ages being a FMC in her 30s and the MMC in his 50s, instead of a young girl in her 20s. What can I say about Axel? He is everything you could ever want and I love him so much. He's so sweet and caring and protective and generous, and THAT MOUTH ON HIM. The way he feels about Maddie had me at a loss for words. Their relationship is so special and proves that age is just a number. I loved Maddie's character development and going from insecure and not loving herself to udnerstanding her worth and knowing she deserves the love that Axel gives her.
