I Hate Men
by Pauline Harmange
Nice essay, but it’s very short and basically feminism 101. It does not add much to the conversation, unless you personally still need permission to hate men. The sisterhood spiel at the end seems very white feminism to me as well, encouraging women to organize like men. Which, sure, organization and spending time together is important. But a knitting and baking group is not going to bring about any meaningful change and the book abruptly ends when you’d expect a detour into something more substantial.
