Locke is an orphan and an orphans life is hard. He dodges slavery and death and becomes a gifted con artist. He is the leader of the Gentleman Bastards and is infamous. He is even fooling the world’s most feared ruler. However, there is something dark and dangerous lurking around the corner.
I loved the humor that was tied in this book. Locke was a cool character and I enjoyed him. Sometimes I felt not much was going on and I didn’t really like the narrator. I will be reading more of the series in the future.
