Not That I Could Tell
by Jessica Strawser
I was skeptical about this novel until I got to the ending. Totally unpredictable, but satisfactory to say the least. On that note, I wish that the rest of the story was as attention griping as the last 30 pages or so. I wouldn’t categorize this novel as a thriller, as many have, but rather a women’s lit/drama. Would recommend if you’re into that kind of writing. *A note to potential readers - domestic violence/sexual abuse are staunch topics in this book. If that conjures up bad feelings — I would skip this one.*
