Not really sure how to review this one. It didn't have me hooked like other books I've read and it took me at least 100 pages before I really started thinking that I wanted to know what would happen next. The book flicks between chapters with different character POVs but once you get used to them it's ok. The whole time I was reading this book thought j was basically just thinking "what the shit is going on?".

I didn't connect with the characters in this books and that's something I look for in a novel that keeps me hooked. There were good and bad things about this one - seems like there was a slight bit of Insta love in it too. As much as you can have any kind of romantic situation in an alien invasion anyway.

Definitely got better toward the end but yeah not really sure what I think about this one. I kinda wanna know what's gonna happen next, but I kinda don't. Not sure if ill read the next one or just go watch the 5th Wave movie since it just came out, and then wait for the others.
