I’m not quite sure how I feel about the 3rd installment of the Lightlark series. 

I loved the first book. I enjoyed the second book. 

This one felt… off… some parts felt like they were included purely for filler. Some parts felt important but glossed over. 

This series was originally supposed to be 3 books but after this one, I bet Alex Aster is going to try to pull a 4th from the ashes… possibly a 5th? 

That means more filler and more who-do-I-love drama that honestly I am finding annoying. When will Isla learn to be a big girl and just put all her cards on the table?!
