This book is currently being challenged in my school district. After reading this, I am so frustrated about the challenging. Everything that is talked about in this book is talked about in public school ten times over. I love this story and the message behind the story. I don't know how someone can read this book and just see it as all completely disgusting. It's a beautiful book, and this story within it is one that is so seldom told. I loved this. If one doesn't want their children to know about what happens in this book, then those children shouldn't be allowed to enter the real world. The real world is a lot more 'disgusting' then this.
