Obviously a classic but suffers from the classic buildup no pay off of horror. Sometimes it's better when things aren't completely explained at the end, otherwise you do get something like a galactic turtle fighting a galactic spider in something that seems far out in left field from the original premise of the book. I love the first half, but from there it sort of goes crazy but not in the best way horror wise. Still a place in my heart though.
