okay this was so creepy. I made the mistake of reading a good chunk of this book last night before bed, and I have major regrets because I couldn't sleep, and this morning my phone was randomly turned off and I missed my alarm to wake up so now I'm even more freaked out.

this was good overall, really intense, terrifying, and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The only problem I have is the ending. Firstly, I wasn't even expecting what actually ended up happening, even though I guess it makes more sense than there being real ghosts haunting a house. But, the ending was so sudden and it didn't answer any questions? Like I want to see what Mari does to the Sterling Foundation, and I wanted to see her mom and Alec reuniting with her, Piper, and Sammy. I don't know if there's supposed to be a sequel to this and that's why it ended off this way, but it just felt weird. I think we could have gotten a better, more satisfying conclusion.
