Clown in a Cornfield
by Adam Cesare
A small town with emotions running high as old battle young and a killer clown determined to wipe the slate clean.
The first 1/3 of the book started off slow, setting the stage but the last 2/3 of the book was non stop action or maybe I should say non-stop slaughter!
This isn’t for sensitive readers - it’s full of gratuitous violence. It was like a horror movie playing out on the page. I could see it all in my head and it totally gave me a nightmare. I mean there are killer clowns, a cornfield in the middle of nowhere and no one around to help. That’s a sure sign of a fun horror story!
This one had some fun, unexpected twists which I really appreciated since I had the main angle figured out. I could see this being a movie - homicidal clowns are so damn creepy!
