Sarah's Premonition
by Tina Stewart
I received this audio book for free in exchange for an honest review.
This is a stand alone book told from Sarah's pov.
She goes from living on the street to working as a nanny for a family of 2 children, unfortunately both parents die and they leave in their will that they wanted Sarah to adopt them, so she does.
Sarah was a perfect parent, I mean PERFECT, we all love our kids but Sarah loves "her kids" more than anyone ever loved their own.
The love aspect in the book is lovely albeit creepy at times, I felt that the man was more of a stalker than a love interest sometimes.
The story is very light and fluffy, and reminds me a little of a Disney movie.
The speech in the book is very strange, there are no uses of contractions at all (new word for me wahoo!)
"Hello Sarah how are you today"
"Hello, I am very well thank you for asking, how are you"
"I am also very well, I am just going to get a cup of coffee, would you like to join me?"
"I would like to join you very much, thank you, you are very nice to ask me"
And so on....
Narration was good, I didn't feel the need to speed up or slow down and could clearly distinguish all of the characters.
