The ending of Kurt Vonnegut's "Cats Cradle" effectively left me breathless, mainly due to the fact that it was not satisfying whatsoever. This satirical little piece, chalked full of wit, meshes history with religion, politics, and peppers it with a dash of science fiction. It is a must read for those up to the challenge.
