I thought about giving it a 3 stars but the more i think about it.. nahh.
If you want to read this book just be prepared to read hundreds of pages filled with superficial things, awful human beings, unnerving brands name dropping, about a hundred pov, and some questionable writing.

Now there are some things I can say about the characters. Patrick is a doormat and a weak ass man. Greg is a creep who flirts with his teenage step-daughter and married a woman whose husband he quote unquote killed, Kit is... i don’t know, she has issues. 2 minutes after her husbands died, yes husbands as in plural, she immediately went to date another guy. When I say heterosexuality is a sickness. I mean... whatever man, you do you, it’s just weird as hell you don’t bother to give it time. Laura and Willa are just there. Their personality is just that they exist. The girls Sienna an Aurora are privileged and victims of bad parenting. Thanks Kit!

The good thing is the most awful character in this book (Lynn) whom i suspected is a sociopath, redeemed herself in the end by helping another awful human being (Raina. Conniving bitch, compulsive liar. Yes being poor sucks, she tried to scam old white men to give her money. I can respect that but lets not pretend that it’s not shady and weird).

sara shepard tried to yay feminism’ed this one and i would like to thank her for trying. But this is just not a good book.
