Good Company
by Cynthia D'Aprix Sweeney
I wasn't sure how I was going to like this. I gave up on The Nest by her and almost dnf'ed this one. I usually give up on a book around 100 pages is in not feeling it and I was there and it just gripped me!
This is a very character driven novel. Mostly centered on Flora and Julian and Matt and David. Friends for a long time. David had started a theater company, Good Company. Flora has a daughter Ruby that she left the stage to raise.
A secret 20 years ago is find out about Julian and Flora realized how much she put her trust in him when she shouldn't have trusted what he said all those years ago at all.
Margot hit it big in Hollywood and is Flora's best friend. When Flora finds out what Margot knew all those years ago and never told... There's a rift in their friendship.
