read for Popsugar 2017 advanced challenge: a book that's been mentioned in another book

Probably more like a 3.5, but the Peter Pan musical is so dear to my heart. I can really see how the style of this novel would influence Cat Valente when writing the Fairyland books, which I now desperately want to reread.
