All-New Wolverine, Vol. 6: Old Woman Laura by Tom Taylor, Ramon Rosanas, Marco Failla
3.0

A good, but not great, send off for Laura as the Wolverine.

So we start off with two standalone issues before getting into the Old Woman Laura storyline. The first is basically a team up with Deadpool and Gabby. It's about as magical as you can expect. The next story is about a woman wanting revenge for her father being killed. Laura had killed her father but the woman knows better than that and together she teams up with Wolverine to take down the people responsible. Last storyline jumps into the future with Laura as a older warrior who learns she is dying. So she, plus Gabby, and a few other heroes head over to rescue the missing heroes.

Good: The Gabby + deadpool issue is pure amazing. Seriously. A 5 out of 5 in terms of enjoyment. It's the type of goofy, over the top, yet somehow you get emotional, type of story I always enjoy. I also enjoyed parts of the old woman laura story, especially the start and very end.

Bad: Some parts of the old woman laura felt kind of boring or cliche. I also thought the storyline of revenge was just okay and had been a little out of place here.

Overall a solid goodbye. I think it could have been stronger but what we got here was entertaining. Overall I enjoyed Taylor's run for Wolverine, and while not as strong as couple of the middle volumes, it was still a good send off. A 3 out of 5.
