I mean... we knew this was gonna be a 5 star read, right? Like there was no debate about this? I mean I was scared going into it; scared for my raw emotions who haven't gotten over Avengers: Endgame that this book would rip me to shreds (especially since I saw readwithcindy was crying over it).

I'm not going to go over all the stuff you've heard before. I adore the characters, the world, all fo that. So does everyone else. I love (?) the finish. Like you know what going to happen, but it doesn't tell the full aftermath of everything and leaves it pretty open and it's genius and the evolution of the romances and the amount of character growth is the book is epic.

And Matthias.... One of the worst deaths I've ever read. Like I actually convinced myself for a second Nina revived him but then I was like, wait no, and the reality set in and I just can't. I can't anymore.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I hope there is never an end to Grisha-verse book and I hope like mad that some of these characters turn up in King of Scars.
