This was such an adorable story and I cannot wait to get to the next book! It was fun seeing all these characters in their work as environmental activists but on the government side of it. I really hated Alissa, Kell’s girlfriend. There was a lot of fun with the funny parts of the story, the “death of the Lemur” and the funeral for it. But a lot of the misunderstandings that led to the heartbreak and disruption of our two main characters at the end was sad. So much that it makes me so ready to get my hands on the next book! Julia Kent is one of the best rom-com authors I’ve read and this story is right up there with all the other books I’ve loved from her.
