This is the first in The Kings : Wild Cards series which is a spin off from The Four Kings Security series and what a fantastic beginning it is.
As a backdrop to Jack and Fitz’s romance you get lots of drama, action, explosions, a sneaky relentless stalker, creative use of a helicopter and of course, all the shenanigans of the Four Kings Security chosen family.
The well crafted writing style along with the interesting plot kept me turning the pages desperately wanting to know what was going to happen next. I loved watching Jack and Fitz together, their chemistry is through the roof with lots of super hot moments mixed with super sweet, touching moments.
I couldn’t help but laugh out loud when words such as “SWAT Barbie” appeared and at the antics of some of the team members.
This was a throughly enjoyable book and I can’t wait for the next in the series -
Frank and Joshua’s story.
