I've always been fascinated by this story of Lizzie Borden and how much mystery still surrounds it.
This was an interesting insight (yes, I know not all the book is fact, but there is some) into Lizzie, her thoughts (and my thoughts about her.... Was she , and the person she shows everyone else. I liked hearing her sister Emma's perspective and felt sorry for her. The stranger part was interesting and makes me wonder if it's partly based in truth of some kind. Poor Bridget, the servant girl, trapped by Abby in the household and having her hard earned money taken away so she couldn't leave.
