First, I love Kennedy Fox! They always give me the perfect dose of sexy and sweet, and I have enjoyed every single book that I’ve read by them! Keeping Him was no exception.

The Bishop Brothers series has given me compelling characters and swoon-worthy stories. I honestly can’t say which brother or couple is my favorite! I can, however, say that Mama Bishop raised her boys right…and obviously has great genes!

Keeping Him is the friends-to-lovers story of Jackson and Kiera. Let me tell you…it was well worth the wait! KF has been sprinkling little bits of Jackson and Kiera around for a while, so the anticipation was REAL for me. We got multiple POVs and flashbacks that really helped to give the readers a new perspective on the characters and their lives.

Jackson is a playboy oozing confidence and Kiera is sassy and smart! They’ve been friends for fifteen years while hiding their true feelings for each other. Their friendship is the sweetest, and it’s obvious they’re perfect for each other! Kiera doesn’t want to wait around forever till Jackson figures it out or acts on his feelings, though, so when her boyfriend asks her to marry him, she says “yes.” This just screams “RECIPE FOR ANGST!”

Gahhh I can’t even put into words all the feelings I have right now about this book! It truly was everything! There was growth and conflict and love and sweat! Books like this are why friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite tropes.

Overall, if you think I’m not going to recommend this book, you’re crazy! Go get it now! Not just Keeping Him, but the whole series, because you need to get to know and love each of the Bishop brothers like I have. Contemporary romance with a little southern drama is exactly what you’re getting here!
