This brought me unequivocal joy! At first I worried that the various fairy-tale elements were a big jumble, but then the characters and the story had me in it so much that I did not feel that way at all. I read this right after going into lockdown and it was one of the first new YA books I had read in a long while - I was giddy with the magic, the plot twists, and the representation! I needed Loki when I was a teen, still so glad I have them in my late twenties.
