White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism
by Robin DiAngelo
EDIT: original review below for transparency
-
I read this book back in February. When it topped the best sellers list while bookstagrammers were “waking up to racism” and vowing to read Black authors and read anti racism books it was just so ironic and frustrating.
-
I listened to a video today from @accordingtoweeze on IG and she laid out some valid and honest points to why this book is problematic. I IMPLORE YOU to go watch the video and decide to read a different anti racism book (or ten)
-
I’ve changed my rating and will no longer be recommending this book or supporting this book.
