The opening of this book had me hooked and immediately drawn in. For a moment, I wasn’t sure where the story was heading, but then came an unexpected cult-like twist that completely shifted the tone in a new direction and I was absolutely here for it.

The creepiness kept building, leading to a finale that was both thrilling and genuinely terrifying. I loved the direction it ultimately took, and the feeling that you can’t even trust those closest to you.
