I do so love stories that add originality to the picture book collection. A great storm pushes across a beach front one night where a boy and his father live with their 6 cats (I hope you enjoy finding them on the first page as much as I did!). The next morning, Noi finds a whale washed ashore and knows he must take action fast. But what is he going to do when his father comes home?

A tale that doesn't anthropomorphize an animal, and presents, in a reassuring way, the need to release it back to the wild.
