A Deadly Affair
by Agatha Christie
Maybe the genre just isn't for me. Or maybe it's the age of the stories. I was mildly curious to see who the perp was in each story, but the events leading up to the reveal were either implausibly implausible or so tangentially related that it was laughable. I get the impression that many of the sleuths are popular Christie characters from other books; maybe this is being leaned on a little too much. I appreciated some of the bad puns, except when they driven home with a maul.
