Autoboyography
by Christina Lauren
This book was lovely and perfectly describes the teenage angst of not knowing whether someone has feelings for you when you're falling for them. This is a YA book by one of my preferred romance writing duos, Christina Lauren. Tanner was out as bisexual and dated a guy when his family lived in California, but they've since moved to a very Mormon town in Utah and his parents are worried about how he'll be treated so he isn't telling people. That is, until he meets Sebastian and starts falling in love with him. Seb is Mormon and takes his religion and duty very seriously, and is the TA in Tanner's novel writing course senior year (Seb took the class when he was a Senior the year before and got his novel published). But what happens when Tanner starts writing his novel about a queer character who moves to a religious town and meets the guy of his dreams and the character inspiration actually starts showing returned interest? Complications, that's what happen.
