This book took me This book took me by surprise. I absolutely loved the plot. I think the idea was absolutely amazing and loved the route it took and the way it ended.

What bugged me more than anything was probably the characters. I couldn’t connect at all and unfortunately that ruined the upswing the plot had initially set for me.

Even at the end of the first book in this series, I didn’t feel as though I connected to the characters and unfortunately that’s a huge piece of whether or not I fall in love with a book. I was very disappointed that I didn’t love it more because the story was fantastic. It was just the characters weren’t anything that stuck out to me, and won’t stick out to me in the future.
