In this book we follow a shocking, heartbreaking and inspiring story I'd recommend everyone who feels emotionally stable right now. This is not ideal for sensitive people and can lead to a depressive episode in your life really fast!
Aside from that I liked the optimistic way this was told which makes it more hopeful and "easy" for the reader.
I decided to not give this book a rating because it feels wrong to me to rate a real story just like that. Overall definitely worth reading, so we can all be more grateful about how lucky we are to be born where and when we are right now.
Update, two years later.
Whilst I still believe that real stories shouldn't be rated, I have to give this 5 stars. The 5 stars are based on the impact this left on me. Whenever migration is discussed I immediately have to think of this story. Read it. Have empathy. With the reminder to only do that when are in a good mental state (if these topics affect you).
