While this isn't the type of book I'd usually pick up, there's a certain charm and mystery to The Dollhouse Academy, a jarring sense of almost reality. For me, multiple I narratives in a book become quickly confusing, though perhaps the echo is what the author intended. It certainlh makes you look at television in a different light.
