This book was phenomenal! I loved every second of it!
You go on such an emotional ride with the women of this book. You feel their pain, think they're foolish, learn to love them, come to understand their faults and strengths...
It's a beautiful story of the war the women fought during World War II. They were left alone in a world being invaded by men who despised them. Their own turned on them for nothing more than scraps of food. They did what they could to survive and tried to save as many people as they could in the process.
Such an amazing story.
