By Your Side details the events of when Autumn gets locked in the library with another person, Dax. Autumn is sure that someone will come back, find her, and let her out of the library, but no one comes. Being stuck in the library for three days with a mysterious classmate, Autumn and Dax find themselves gradually opening up to each other.

By Your Side is your typical love story. It was really easy to get through the book, (especially since it was an audiobook). I'm not giving it five stars because it's a read-and-that's-it kind of book. I probably won't ever think about this book ever again, and I find that I am okay with that.
