It's actually a 3 1/2 stars, the only complaint is that basically nothing happens. Its a pretty broad stroke character study at that. The relationship is an improvement of Todd's other novels. But the writing is bit of a mix bag for me. I do have a feeling if I physically read it, the book would drop to like 2 star.

If your interested give it a read, if not skip it. I will pick up book 2.
