This shit was absolutely hilarious. Nicholas and Naomi bantering and pissing each other off for the fun of it and along the way, creating a life they actually wanted was perfect. And the fact that Nicholas never once fell out of love with her was heartbreaking. He had to watch her fall out of love with him and just. Did his fucking best to keep them together as long as possible. And even when he snaps, he does it to salvage their relationship. He's all like. This isn't working? Let's do the complete fucking opposite. Though, running over her favorite tree because she accidentally led to his phone breaking, in my opinion, was going a bit too far.

I also want to address the fact that I hate Deborah. When she started talking about Naomi needing to diet before her wedding and how she switched Naomi's dress to a size zero because she had been a size zero on her wedding day, I wanted to reach through the pages of the book and strangle her.

Favorite parts: When Naomi is thinking about attacking Nicholas and ends with "Uppercut. Your dad goes to brothels." Naomi telling Nicholas she burned the jasmine he sent because she thought it was oleander. Naomi and Nicholas yelling at each other about wanting pizza, specifically “Fine! I’ve got a fucking coupon for Benigno’s, anyway!” And finally, Naomi trying to bury Nicholas in dead leaves.
