This little audio novella was everything I wanted it to be. I’ve taken a break from the Green Bone saga (I’m not ready for it to end, but I’ll finish it soon), but I love the world of Janloon, so this was the perfect bite-sized story to dive back into that world for a little while. You don’t need to have read any of the novels to understand or appreciate the story/misadventure of a novice jade setter who has been entrusted with repairing a very important weapon before it’s stolen. The story takes us through their journey to track down the thief and make it through the end of the week alive and in one piece!
