I enjoyed this book so much more than the first book!! The characters jump off the page!
Shazi and Khalid are beautiful.
Despina, Jalal, and Vikram are sassy and passionate.
Irsa and Rahim... my favourites!
Omar and Astan are perfect!
I loved the story, the twists, the turns, the laughter, the crying, the frustrations.
I do think there needed to be a little more of Shazi’s dad, just because he felt a little forgotten, but I’m also glad there wasn’t a lot of him.
This is a great duology. I thoroughly recommend you stick with it after the first one!!
