To make it clear. I still really dig this series. However, this volume was a tad...boring.

I get it. The mystery. The reveal. It'll be huge. So we have to run circles around it. Make it confusing, make it scary, make it exciting. However, some answers need to slip through. In here we got what we expected. A lot of talking, alot of threats, but no real action (till the end). Now I don't need boom, bang, slash action every issue. But I want the plot to move in exciting ways. This volume didn't really do that.

However two major things I LOVED. Kyle is finally less of a moping little bitch. He has funny one liners, good come backs, he's becoming confident, and stronger. It's nice to see his character development. I really enjoyed that. Also, without spoilers, the last few pages is amazing. A turning point, and made this jump up from a 2.5 to a 3.5. So hopefully the series moves forward that way.

Still a great series in total. Very different than anything else out there and I love it for that.
