Right off the bat, I will say that this book got my attention right from the prologue. Creepiest prologue I've ever read! It only took me two days to read and the fastest I've ever read a book was probably a week (I'm a slow reader). It has the right pacing and I was definitely not bored.

The story alternates between 1986 and 2016 but it not even a little bit confusing (if dual timeline worries you). For someone who loves a good whodunnit, this one has so many for me to guess from! Even though, I do wish for it to be a bit more dark/creepy/scary/etc, I do highly recommend you give it a try. Read the prologue, tell me you aren't intrigued ;)

What a great debut novel! I'm looking forward to read more from the author.
