Obsessed. Did I start & finish this in roughly 24 hours? Absolutely. Give me magic, chaos, self discovery, a dark/moody wizarding school, AND a my type of begrudging sarcastic romance? Sold. A bunch of teenagers at a seemingly possessed magical boarding school with no teachers? Sign me up!

This type of YA novel is what keeps me reading YA. It’s fun. And witty. I was giggling. I needed to know what happened next. I felt all the emotions a good YA book elicits. In short, it’s a well written YA pleasure read for fantasy lovers. I am already anxiously awaiting the second book to come out in a few months!

For some comparison, it did give me some serious Harley Merlin book series & The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina TV series vibes.
